Done one brew with it so far and it worked very well. As it says in the literature it is aimed at brewers who want to upgrade from a cooler mash tun, that is me, I have used up to now a Coleman cooler which also worked well. It held mash temperature as well as my cooler, losing less than 1°C over the hour, although my cooler was also wrapped up in many towels. , is that MM includes the sparge arm which means I won't batch sparge any more. The one disadvantage for me is that to feed the sparge arm I decided I needed to pump it which meant ordering disconnects, pump, etc, although it is another little step towards looking more professional
One other comment to make is that the one brew I have done so far produced the clearest wort (post boil) I have ever had in 44 brews, but, I did use a Protofloc tablet instead of Irish Moss for the first time too, may have been that
