Batch priming again

Postby octoscott » Tue Apr 05, 2016 15:05

Got my Galaxy/Mosaic/Citra pale to bottle tonight and looking to batch prime for the first time.

Gonna carbonate it to 2.2 volumes with 57g of sugar into 12.5 litres.

Once I have dissolved the sugar in boiling water can i just add it to my bottling bucket then syphon my beer on top? How long should I leave it all mixed before bottling?

Is it ready to roll right away?

I would put it in the bottom and then siphon the beer on top and give it a gentle stir no splashing. That should mix it up fine.

Thanks grays.

Hopefully this proves to be a much easier method of bottling.
