No recipes in this one, just history. For recipes buy the Pattinson book.

I haven't read it, but it is good by all accounts, dealing with the history of brewing. I look at his blog from time to time

I read the blog occasionally, thats what drew me to the book, looks a good read.

I enjoyed it, no recipes. You might prefer IPA by Mitch Steele which has recipes and takes some its history from this.
