Looking at doing a Steam Beer as a wedding favour to accompany a stout. Does anyone have any successful recipes? My only real reference is the Tesco Revisionist style.

Try anchor, quite easy to find. Its just a slightly fruity lager basically. Do not go more than a c or two over temp. Just over works, 5c will leave you with 5 gallons of chemical tasting drain fodder.

Thanks for the recipe and tips. Just getting my fermentation fridge wired up and I'll be able to maintain a good temp.

With WLP810 ferment at 15C for 7 days then allow to come up to 18C over the next 7 days when you should have reached FG and then crash. Treat WLP810 as a true lager yeast and make a big starter, ~450bn cells for 23L
