Elvis Juice V2.0

So I decided to have a crack at the Brewdog "Elvis Juice V2.0" from their DIYDOG release.
It may only be my first AG brew and I could well have dived in to something completely head first, but hey, I'm ready for it now!
The original EJ is a beer I love, and if I am able to recreate something like that, then I will be over the moon.

Anyone tried making this one yet?
I may need a little guidance with the hop schedule, as the recipe just provides "Start/middle/end". What should I be looking at in terms of timings do you think?

Also, the recipe doesn't mention anything about boil time at all... but looking back through the first few pages, it mentions that they "recommend a 60 minute boil" in most cases. Any thoughts on that?

**Note** I chose "Safale U.S-05 11.5g" as my yeast. Correct choice?

Any advice I might need before I start would be excellent!

Start = 60, middle = probably around 20 mins and end = 0 mins with a steep, that's what I would go for.

60 min boils are fine. If you use extra pale Maris otter there's no real dms risk with a 60 min boil, but if you use another extra pale malt like lager malt you'll need a full 90 min boil.

Are you going for liquid yeast? If not Us-05 or similar should suffice.

Rob (MM) advised me that lager malt was the "Extra pale" malt I was looking for, so I build that in to my ingredient list.
Do you thing I should have gone for EPMO (although I couldn't find it on the site...)?

Oh and I chose US-05 (edited original post now).

How would the 90 min boil affect the timings of the hops against the 60min version you provided?

Us 05 will be perfect.
If your boiling for 90 your timing would be 90 (start of boil), 20 ( I would go 15), 0.
This does sound awesome!

I have just seen a I've contradicted Martin!
If you add the hops at 90, you don't need to add as much to achieve the same bittering effect (IBUs).

Have you seen brew mate or brewers friend? They allow to build a recipe and give you expected values including IBUS and abv.
If you try building this recipe on there and change the boil length you will see what I mean.

Couldn't decide which app to go with! Beersmith is thrown around a lot as well as those two you mentioned. Any particular one better than another or do they do the same job?

One bit of terminology I haven't got clued up on just yet is "steeping".
When you say "0 mins with a steep" what are we actually saying here?

Turn your element off then either chill to 80c and add hops and leave 20/30min before continuing to chill or if your lazy like me just turn element off chuck in your hops and start chilling after 20/30 min

Do these apps also calculate the amount of priming sugar I will need?

Beer smith certainly does.
