HopCat... Anyone looked into it?

Postby MrBoy » Sun Apr 14, 2019 01:19

I'm not into all grain, only kits, but this seems like an incredible price for what it includes for getting into AG easily. Seems like it includes everything I'd need... Has anyone looked into this yet?

They had a stall at last years Brewcon. It looked OK to me but I don't have any experience with these all in systems.

If I started from scratch again I would buy a 50 liters boiler with a tap and do 20 litre boil in the bag brews until I knew what I was doing and then either get a mash tun or continue and start to increase volume brewed depending in fv size. Chiller not required either just stick fv in a large plastic tub of water with a t shirt over it. Uk weather will look after the rest.
