home brewing in the usa

In the USA visiting the inlaws and just back from Hop city with the basics to make a brew. Using a turkey fryer for a kettle and a plastic bucket and some dog blankets for a mash tun. Just mashed in 3 c off but not bad for makeshift kit. Half vienna half golden promise and a bit of crystal..as much as the bucket could take say 4 kilo. Got 3 packets of falconers flight for hops. Let's see.

2 weeks? You are patient  :cheers1:

I enjoy a glass of wine each night for its health benefits. The other glasses are for my witty comebacks and flawless dance moves.

That's 2 weeks from mashing in. in a turkey fryer by a swimming pool, bottles conditioned under a blanket next to an Aircon vent. I dry hopped with falconers flight which you don't get to see anymore back in Blighty. wonder how my Father forgive me lager mk2 has been getting on in the shed back home.
