What to brew with spring water?

Postby MrBoy » Wed Mar 28, 2018 20:38

I have 15L of Tesco Ashbeck spring water, 3x5L bottles bought as cheap DJs for cider I need to store now.

Rather than pour it away, is there any particular style of beer that might suit this water profile?

Lagers/Pilsners and pale ales/bitters.
You will have to adjust the Calcium level up and in the process get the chloride:sulphate ratio to spec for the beer you want to brew.
You can also use it to mix your Star San with, if you use it.
