Looking to get back on the horse after a long absence

Postby Will12283 » Sun Jun 04, 2017 23:23

I'm looking to brew for the first time in ages. I'm planning on getting an AG kit so no problem there.
I'm in need of something to give my kit a very good clean (it has not been cleaned in a while).
I'm also in need of some new fermenters, the cheaper the better.

Thanks in advance
Rhys

PBW would be my choice.

Haven't gone wrong with a bit of oxiclean (Vanish!)

Thanks for the replys. Used oxi before and think it was the reason I had an infected brew.
Where is the best place to pick up PBW?
Is wilko still the cheapest local place for fermenters?

Oxiclean is for cleaning. Pbw is for cleaning and sanitising.

I used oxi to clean and star San to sanitise. But if PBW does it all in one will save me time.
Thanks Dennis I will have a look when I get 5mins

PBW doesn't sanitise. I use PBW for cleaning and Videne for sanitising.
