Anyone used Maltodextrin in an all grain?

I'm usually quite a purist and will never add anything but malt, hops, yeast and water.

Is this stuff any good?

I suppose the theory is that you shouldn't have to... if you want more sweetness and body then you can mash hot and use windsor...

However I suppose if you ended up with a beer that went too dry you could bring the FG back up with it?

Just realised I posted this in the wrong thread!

That makes sense calum. It may be useful for a dryer beer
