I guess you'd better start clearing out the racist and sexist 'jokes' in the snug
What a ridiculous knee-jerk reaction.

Im just glad the rest of the forum users here can see how silly this is getting. Its detrimental to any newcomers joining and I think it should stop now. Being a moderator that should be your first priority really

Silly it is not. There are very good reasons why it is simply not allowed. Please go back and read them.

If you still think those aren't good enough reasons well, so be it. But they are the rules for those reasons and they will be enforced.

Simple.

Yes definitely an overreaction. I think any sensible person could see that mark's post was a casual remark not to be taken seriously.
Does that mean anything illegal can't even be mentioned on the forum? A cannabis beer exists but we're not allowed to mention it? It's not like mark was asking for a recipe or a how to.

"The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried."

Thanks Steve for getting personal I am obviously not a sensible person.

And the rules of the forum are very clear that we cannot discuss anything illegal

I'm locking this thread now.

It's fairly clear in the rules that we don't discuss anything illegal on this forum.

To put things into perspective.

Mark posted

"I'm surprised no one's ever thought of cannabis beer. Would be like killing 2 birds with 1 stone "

To which graysalchemy responded

"Probably because people have more sense than to discuss such things on a public forum "

To which Mark posted

"Sorry graysalchemy but we're all adults here. So it's OK for others to swear and tell obscene jokes. I think your going overboard and need to grow up."

I'm sorry, but I don't get why what graysalchemy posted was overboard, nor do I see why he needs to grow up.

The rules also state no personal insults are allowed ;)

End of topic, shame it had to go this way.
