fruit flavour without adding fruit

Any ideas on how to flavour a wheat beer without adding actual fruit. Was thinking of some sort of non fermentable rasberry flavouring

Problem is a lot of flavour and colour comes from the skins, which are left behind when pressing for juice.

I've used flavourings before and they can be used in small amounts to good effect but generally only add aroma and can be quite synthetic.

Go hard or go home! Just dump it on 5 kilo of cherries.

Why don't you want to add fruit?

One of my best ever beers was my raspberry honey wheat beer. 4.5kg of raspberries went into 60litres.

this ones a sour and its the first kettle sour ive done. Maybe if this one turns out ok ill justify spending nearly £15 on 3 kilos of raspberrys next time

So it's a cost issue?

What about a plain batch and do a gallon on fruit? Normal sours are very nice beers. It'll be worth the cost though, fruit sours are phenomenal, and you can brew it stronger if you want it to be more economic.

this one is now fermenting with london ale yeast. Ill get some frozen rasps in 2 weeks and boil them adding to a secondary .

nah i wont be messing with them ive never bothered before with gooseberries etc
