Corny without Co2

Bottles, Kegs, Casks, Polypins or however you serve your brew.

Ah, I've just seen, you wont use CO2 'cos you haven't the space. But if you're maintaining such low pressure you can get away with tiny CO2 bottles ("Widget World", etc.).

And you failed to cause a riot with your comment about "sparklers"! We'll put that right....

Throw it (sparkler) in the bin. They rip the guts out of your beer! Lovely head, just beer pays for it by ending up having the same body as tap water!

Hardly a riot but a start.

NB you can get a small converter for soda stream bottles to regular gas regulator size thread. You need to put the converter on the gas regulator and screw the soda stream bottle to the reg as there's no valve on the bottle... otherwise you'll live in interesting times. Filling soda stream bottles is possible, but fairly dangerous imho. CO2doctor does the refill kits (quite expensive). If you're just after the adapter to fit your regulator, I got mine from http://www.co2supermarket.co.uk/sodastr ... rs-p1.html - make sure the thread is the correct one for your regulator.

I've got one of them soda stream bottle adapters, it's OK. The one with a valve on it is one million percent better.

just saw the comment 5hats - why is it that much better? Assuming you connect the adapter to the CO2 outlet and then connect the sodastream I can't see a difference?
