Well Chaps first brew of the year today thought i would go for that rarely brewed beer LANDLORD  all went according to plan except I forgot to fit the hop filter in my haste to get this year brewing season underway but i use pellets anyway so i think a load gets through regardless.

Here is the recipe i used i think it is a scaled down version of Nobbys recipe

Boil Size: 31.02 l
Post Boil Volume: 26.52 l
Batch Size (fermenter): 23.00 l
Bottling Volume: 22.50 l
Estimated OG: 1.044 SG
Estimated Color: 22.0 EBC
Estimated IBU: 32.3 IBUs
Brewhouse Efficiency: 81.00 %
Est Mash Efficiency: 89.8 %
Mash: 90 Minutes @ 66c
Boil Time: 90 Minutes

Ingredients:
------------
3891g Pale Malt, Golden Promise (Thomas Fawcet Grain 1 97.7 %
90g Chocolate Malt (Thomas Fawcett) (1000.8 Grain 2 2.3 %
52g Styrian Goldings [1.60 %] - Boil 90.0 mi Hop 3 10.0 IBUs
18g East Kent Goldings (EKG) [7.20 %] - Boil Hop 4 15.6 IBUs
0.50 Items Protofloc tablet (Boil 15.0 mins) Fining 5 -
40g Styrian Goldings [1.60 %] - Boil 10.0 mi Hop 6 2.6 IBUs
14g East Kent Goldings (EKG) [7.20 %] - Boil Hop 7 4.1 IBUs
1.0 pkg SafAle English Ale (DCL/Fermentis #S-04) Yeast 8 -

Mash Schedule: BIAB, Medium Body
Total Grain Weight: 3981.00 g

OG was 1045 so not far off, i have upped my efficiency in Beersmith as the estimated OG was usually quite far off the actual on the last couple of brews.
Tried to do some different shots as looking through my phone the pics all look the same as previous brews:lol:

The filling of the boiler should have noticed the lack of hop filter

I Thought i could fashion a filter out of the side of my hop bag and a sieve - NO lasted about 10 seconds
