Got this growing and was wondering how many should i cut it back to?

Overall there are 13 shoots and its the hops 3rd year.

I don't know but evidently young hops shoots can be cooked and taste like asparagus.

cut back all but 3 Ian. Choose the shortest and weakest to cut back too

Yeah 3's good. I tried 4 this year. I had 14 shoots in total. Got about 2 feet on mine now :)

I find that when I cut back my vines they make good cuttings.
The tip of the vine seems to root really well .
