I put an order in on sunday and it arrived today :notworthy:

The malt came out slightly cheaper than at the Malt Miller so I went with them.

Actually I've just weighed it and they've given me 1KG of Black malt instead of 500g.. I'm never gonna use all this black malt. I don't even like Stouts that much.

I had the same, I ordered 500g of roasted barley and when it arrived today it was 1Kg, I though strange checked the order and it was def. 500g on the packing slip. Maybe they were out of 500g bags so substituted the 1Kg bags. The rest of the order was correct though.

At least the adjucts have a LONG shelf life, I have black malt from about 4 or 5 years ago, still fine, kept in a sealed zip lock bag.
Will be spitting the RB into smaller bags as it will take a while to use up 500g never mind 1Kg.

Do you usually get an auto confirmation email from these. I placed an order with them this morning and the payment has gone through via paypal but had no confirmation from them that the order is received.

They might do them manually pal.. That way they can guarantee all the ingredients are in. if you haven't heard from end of monday morning I'd phone them.

Ordered for the first time on the 21st (10 days ago) and nothing! No hops, not picking up emails, not answering the phone. Why did I do it ? :(

If I were you I'd email them, clearly something is amiss. They normally respond very quickly.

Ah that's not so good :-( I've used them for years without any problems, but it appears that you have been dealt a bad hand.

Never had a problem, always first class service. I'd suggest you give them a call.
