Re: CO2 Suppliers E & S London, Slough, W Midlands

Postby airymary » Sat Oct 18, 2014 18:47

I get pub size 6.35kg cylinders from Eastenders Cash & Carry. They are a fags n' booze cash and carry chain, trade only. My local branch (Leyton, E10) is fine selling CO2 cylinders to non-trade buyers. Can't speak for the other branches, but see no reason why they would be different. Initial £10 deposit, and £18 per refill. Other branches in Barking, Croydon, Slough, and W Midlands - B66 and CV1. Website http://eastendersplc.co.uk/

Cheers,
Chris

was around £17 for a refill (from memory)

This needs updating - they no longer do this service I'm afraid. They divert you to The Calor Gas Centre in Old Woking, who charge £30 just for a refill and £80 bottle deposit (+ £30 for the gas).

The Slyfield place is a different operation now (AP distributor IIRC)

6.35kg co2 is £18 initial deposit and £16.20 for the co2 (both include vat). You have to visit and set up an account with them which is free of charge.

They also sell beer line cleaner :thumb:

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

Belfast

It's tricky to find CO2 in Northern Ireland but there's a guy called Alex in Belfast who can supply the large pub style cylinders for £50 and £20 for a refill.

Cheers Joe! is that open on a Saturday? Bit of a journey but worth it if it's that cheap.
