Interesting, I'm down in the smoke next month so may have a gander

Interesting, I'll pop down there one lunchtime.

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

That did spring to mind. We are going to the theatre today, I'm trying to work in a trip there today, if we have enough time.

There's this one 10 mins walk from Kings Cross too - well worth a visit (went in Feb): http://thecraftbeerco.com/pubs/islington/

That's the one. When I worked in Hatton Garden it was a Watneys pub called the Leather bottle.

I managed to pop in for a brief visit. They have a pretty good selection of beers, both chilled and not. The hope are £6.50-£7 for the American ones and £5 for others. They have some Whitelabs yeast vials, about 4 different yeasts £10 each. They has a small selection of brewing equipment and of course Rob's grain.

They will be doing brewing courses and brewers meet up soon apparently.

Just drinking one of their exp 366's it's rather good.

I hope to get back there in the week, without the wife.

I want some flying dog IPA but they had sold out. Will take my growler to get filled too.
