Hop Soda Experiment #2 - Citra

A designated driver would probably appreciate something made just for them

Hop Soda Experiment #2 - Citra

Trying again with a cold infusion method this time. An overnight warm dunk didn't yield enough hop aroma.

120g sugar
50g Crystal malt (steeped in 1L 66c water for 20 mins, grains removed afterwards.)
20g Citra Hop Pellets

Steeping hop pellets in 2L cold water for 1 week (sanitized pop bottle in the dark.) Will then blend the other ingredients together and bottle with wine yeast, then pop them in the cool as they harden up.

If the wine yeast just for CO2 ..... that's very clever. Rob is this a kinda non-alco beer?

It is indeed. It also gives it a light fermented flavour, it rocks in at 0.4% pjam :)
