Right well I cracked a bottle of this open last night.
for the money Its bloody good! made as per instructions and sweetened (not following instructions) to 1005 as thats how SWMBO likes it.
I was rather impressed! Its been in the bottle for three months now and for once I have managed to leave well alone!
the initial taste is sweet and fruity I don't know what ABV it worked out at (have the notes somewhere but I will work it out) but it seems to be light without the kick of some of my other homebrew wines.
the downside is that it does not have enough body (in my view) and if it were any less I would say it would be closer to the watery side. Still, its a great drink and I can see this being our 'house' wine. SWMBO even prefers it to the solomon grundy rose which costs 50% more! and i would have to agree and say i do too!
