Beaverdale Blush

Made a great kit, tell us about it, made something not so great from a kit, warn the rest of us.

Started this on the weekend following the kit instructions to the word. Fermentation started within hours. Bubbleing every 3-4 seconds at present. Looks very dark at the moment and imagine the colour will lighten when fermentaion has finishes in 1 1/2 weeks and when I add the finings. Will report back shortly!

Just bottles this. Got 5 bottles for some reason. Not sure why. Tastes slightly dry and fruity. Lovely colour and aroma. Will store these and report back in a month at least.

I cracked open a bottle of mine last night and I think that I back sweetened a tad too much as it is slightly too sweet but quite nice. My OH said he though that it was "rather drinkable" but I will reduce the sugar next time I make it.

I didn't bother with sweatening as I quite liked the taste at bottling. Hopefullybthat will improve.
