Wilkinsons Rosé

Made a great kit, tell us about it, made something not so great from a kit, warn the rest of us.

I've done this one, and it's a very nice drink. Apart from my own mistake of not de-gassing it properly

Bottles this yesterday. Had a slight off putting smell of vinager but tasted quite drinkable. Anyone else found similar?

Not had a vinager taste in mine, that's usually a sign of infection.

I made this once as it was in the 50% off sale, it tasted fine but i would not pay £8 for it.

I've just started another one of these kits (one of a few that were given to me for Christmas). The first time I made it I didn't have much stock so drank it quite quickly, but now I can let it "mature" for a few months so I shall let you know if it improves.

is that the strawberry Rose?

I did this a while ago, and with a few months maturing turned out perfectly ok.

Current emissions in UK – 9 tons per person per year!

Bottled this week, tasted ok at bottling but definitely needs maturing. I will report back in 3 months.
