I made a batch of wine using 3 litres of Don Simon red grape juice (plus sugar) to the gallon. Compared with a Cellar 7 cabernet sauvignon it is pale and inferior in flavour, but better and cheaper than the Winebuddy version. Waitrose merlot juice produced a rather pale red, but the flavour was very good.
