Wedding wine kit reccomendations.

Postby krazypara3165 » Tue Oct 11, 2016 11:12

So, 18 months to go and I want to start looking into getting g some wine made.

I have some 2yo chateau de royal, but u sure how nice it will be by then.

So need reccomendations for wine to brew now. I want to do red, white and rose.

Open to ideas but the rose has to be at least on the sweeter side.

It really depends what you want out of the wine. I've always enjoyed the merlot kits I've bought, but I've always brewed them as "lots of gluggable wine cheap", rather than as high quality wine. Same can be said with the whites I've done. I'll tell you about the only rosé I've done next week (when it's brewed). If you're looking to get kits on now you'll want to do reds first, the whites and rosés nearer the time

I like the vintners choice ones. The cab sauv is my favourite though the merlot isn't bad. I was thinking if doing a few and blending them after fermentation.

Cheers. Been looking for the above and also the kenridge Italian amerone yet everyone appears to be out of stock. Is there any other reccomendations? Also looking for a good Chardonnay...
