Berliner Weisse extra souring

Any reason why a spoon of citric acid in the secondary for a week won't make a quick fix ahead of bottling here?

Citric will make it tangy rather than sour imo. Lactic acid is the one you ideally want for a late addition, if you can get it. But no, no reason against it really, just ensure it mixes well.
