Big bottling session this morning
left me with three empty big bottles. I need to keep a 15 litre one empty for now, but it seemed a shame not to get the 19s turned around and reloaded.
A plan comes together:
A few sugar sums and bish bosh, job's a good'un.
I'll top them up a bit more later, when they've had another shake and I've found somewhere to put them. Raspberry syrup will go in towards the end of fermentation.

WGJ seems to be scarce at the moment, but I went into our local (small branch) Asda and they had 8 cartons, so I cleared the shelf. I stock up on Prince's juices when they are on BOGOF, which happens quite regularly. Sugar 3 for £2 in Farmfoods.

Will probably find out this time next year. The three I bottled were started in Feb, April and July '13.

Puts my 5 litre batch into perspective, Is this where it leads to? I will need to make more space.

I can get the 15 litre (no deposit) office water cooler bottles from a larger branch of Asda a few miles away. I have also picked a few empty ones up from a local plumber's merchant.
The 19 litre polycarbonate bottles are deposit paid, delivered to the workplace usually on a contract and they collect the empties, so they are much harder to come by.
I got lucky, bobsbeer had 3 he wasn't using, offered them to anybody who was going to the Hot Break, and I got in there first.

Bottled 15 litres of mixed red fruits country wine this morning, then my day got side-swiped and mucked about by the family.
Got back to the plan now and just racked 2 x 19l juice wines. Then I went to update my notes and found that these two were never written down in the first place. Fortunately, a quick search found them here.
I really should have racked these weeks ago, but they were taken down the cellar and forgotten about. Fully cleared now, and sitting on the lees doesn't seem to have harmed them.
Added SodMet and Sorbate, plus 200g sugar in the white and another bottle of Malina raspberry in the pink one.
