What size ball valve???

It's not being funny, 1/2" BSP is common but 3/8" BSP is used to, and goodness knows what other folk might be using.

My turn to be sorry! I'd have to dig about a bit for 15mm 'cos I've only got BSP to hand. May be a day or so.

1/2" BSP is 21/22mm size hole ... 15mm is approximately the same thread diameter as 1/2" BSP, just a tad smaller, so I'd be looking at 20-21mm

please note:The use of punctuation, bold, underlining, italics, and different sized type, follows the convention used in writing, for many years, to place emphasis on the point being made, and to highlight the importance of that point in the opinion of the author. It is not the intention of the author to shout, if that was the case the author would adopt the, much more recent, convention of using all capital letters.

IIRC 21mm comes to mind it was a good tight fit and easy to seal up when the tap is fitted
