LG TV with a beer tap

Okay maybe not actually attached to the TV but who knows what will come next. It appears the electronic giant is about to announce a beer brewing system at the upcoming CES. Not convinced about what will be the product of this contraption, but who knows. https://www.twice.com/product/somethings-brewing-at-lg

The countertop appliance employs single-use capsules pre-packed with malt, yeast, hop oil and flavoring to produce more than a gallon of fresh beer over a two-week period. Users can choose from five styles: American IPA, American Pale Ale, English Stout, Belgian-style Witbier and Czech Pilsner.

I think it was designed to encourage teetotalers. It takes 2 weeks to brew 1 gallon of beer. Then you have to wait another 2 weeks before you get any more. So I somehow think this unit will not even reach the shops. Maybe it would have worked if the beer container was removable and then another brew could be commenced while you drank the first lot, but even then you would probably die of thirst waiting for the second lot to finish.
