Start up kit

Postby Luke Brews » Fri Sep 21, 2018 13:31

Hi all,

After a long love of craft beer drinking I have decided to commit and dedicate my spare time to brewing.
Just moved house and now have a decent size utility room that is not used. So now I have the space.

My question is:

Would anyone be able to give me a list of equipment I need to start creating really great ales?
I want to do this to the best quality possible so good kit I guess is needed. I thank you in advance

I take you are thinking of going all grain, brewing from the raw ingredients, if so this is a good guide

Also look at the Grainfarther/Robobrew systems for simplicity of equipment. ... h-pump-35l

I just recently bought a kit off amazon and had a horrible experiance with the particular vendor as they shiped me just the mix and refused to acknowledge their mistake.

I ended up finding an online homebrew supply shop that ships not far from where i lived and had my kit and first brew done before resolving the issue with my amazon order. (Ended up just returning it to get my money back)

So i would recommend finding a homebrew supplier and see what they have for kits. Most that ive seen around here have 1 or 5gallon starter kits. Kijiji also has a lot of equipment but if you dont knoe what you need just get the kit to start and then use kijiji to grow your operation.
