3-piece ball valve alternative

I like the 3-piece design as you can fully take them apart and clean components, which is obviously crucial. However, I'm not a fan of the 4 bolts it takes to disassemble. Does anyone use an alternative ball valve that still allows for complete disassembly? I'm not a fan of butterfly valves due to the disk being in the middle of the flow, but open to suggestions. I use these all over the place in my home brewing.

We use butterfly valves all through the brewery at work. They work great - what is the issue with them? I can’t say I’ve found them difficult to clean.

Butterfly valves are dairy/brewery standard. I don’t see how you could improve the hygienic design.

LeeH - I agree that butterfly valves are hygienic. I just don't prefer them on certain lines, like Wort as it is a thicker media and a butterfly valve isn't fully unobstructed.

On my ball valve I remove one bolt as it goes through a loop on the centre piece. The other three nuts are slightly loosened enabling the centre piece to slide out for easy cleaning of the faces and other internals.

We would recommend the butterfly valve which have 4 bolts but easier to take apart. Both Butterfly valve and Ball valves are hygienic and suitable for even a pharmaceutical line.

Sorry, secondhand tap came with pot, site glass and heating elements.

This one looks similar, loop can just be seen on the top rear bolt but I've seen a few with two loops so best to check.

That link looks like a normal 3 piece ball valve?
I usually get these from Tameson: https://tameson.co.uk/ball-valve/bv-2-way/bv-2w-stainless-steel/bv-2w-ss-iso-top-3-piece/
Was hoping for a link to one that wasn't a 3 piece.
