I calibrated all my tank gauges and controller last today with my thermo pen but I’m not happy with how slow the dial gauge reacts.
It is in a thermowell so the way I see it is to get one that fits straight in or use a spare PT100 and Chinese Rex PID controller to indicated the temp.
I'm filling the conical up from the bottom valve while the lid is on with the idea of not poking my arm into the FV.
Any thoughts?
Lash up the controller in a box and loose the elbow, probe in the top of the T with the valve outlet in the side of the T?
1/2 inch short dial gauge?
Thermal paste?
