whats best for a brew table ss or wood

hi guys just not long got a 8 by ten shed for brewing and was wondering if wood would be ok to use for a brew bench

I use wood but would have thought SS would be better.

I've used SS tables and they are so easy to clean but more important I think is having having a lip round three sides as it is incredibly useful in containing any spills or stopping items rolling off the back or sides.

Personally I'd prefer SS but that said, I use a wood laminate kitchen worktop that works well.

as said s/s table would be no.1 choice
i have 2 pieces of 1/2" ply sandwedged together with glue and screws to give it strenght ( 3x 60L pots on the table) 1L of water=1Kg
the 3rd choice for me would be the kitchen worktop but this would need to be supported more but it does have a finished surface suitable for our use
