UK version of Electric Brewery on the cheap

Has anyone had a go at adapting this US control panel to a UK setup?

Please google "Electric brewery control panel on the cheap" its on the "instructables" site

Sorry about the lack of a link above, but the admin bot thinks I am trying to spam you. :electric:

Cheers,
Laurence.

Here you go.

The instructables site is great fun, yet to actually build anything from it yet though.

Yeah, never built anything directly from instructables - always had to make design impovements. This looks interesting though. I always felt there was a lot of overkill in the Electric Brewery setup for home brewers. After all, with 50l kettles, one x 2.4kw kettle element and max 2 small pumps active simulatneously, there are loads of ways to keep the costs down. Its just that it was designed around a US 4 wire setup and my electronics skills are not up to the task of converting it.

Not tried it but I'm planning to! Building a new shed this summer, one end of which will be a dedicated 9' by 9' brewery based on The Electric Brewery. Hoping to clear the site and move in with the digger to dig foundations and drains in the August :)

I've built a copy of it. The hardest bit was the extensive amount of wiring needed and procuring all the parts. Image
