Red beer recipe

As I am new to this forum and finding my way around please forgive me asking this question does anyone have a good red ale recipe I was given one on another forum which I am unable to find possible deleted any help would be appreciated :doh:

What kind of thing are you after? A more english-bitter type red ale, an American amber ale, an india red ale (I.e. strong, hoppy Amber ale)?

English bitter type preferred something along the ohallarons from Exeter would be good hope this helps :cheers:

I came up with this a while ago viewtopic.php?t=2281. It was certainly red, and as I used Citra was more American then anything else. But have a look at the grist for colour ideas as it came out really well in that respect! I would try and lower the amount of crystal malts though as it was verging on a little chewy.

Are you in Exeter (I'm in Newton Armpit, but work in Exeter)?
