Hi Guys,
I have finally got all my brewing stuff back from my ex and it turns out I have a load of ingredients that I had kept in my shiney, I am thinking that its all past its best as its all dated 2013 lol
Rather than bin it I was wondering if it would be worth brewing something with it all just as a step back to an AG brew...
I have this lot:
Grain (all stored in sealed plastic tubs)
482g Amber DME
1kg Chocolate Malt
850g Torrefied Wheat
744g Crystal Malt
456g Dark Crystal Malt
3kg Maris Otter (unopened bag)
836g Flaked Barley
Hops
192g Williamette loose hops in a plastic bag
100g Fuggles still vac sealed in foil bag
Yeast
5.9g 'ale yeast' in a silver foil vac pac
7g 'west coast' also in a silver foil vac pac
Just so reiterate, all this stuff is dated 2013 and mostly predates TST2013 so I am not expecting miracles but really dont want to bin it all, the williamette still smells like hops and none of the grain looks bad but will obviously all be past its best
All suggestions welcome, will be good to get my brewing bag back in my plastic kettle to show my mate how to brew properly rather than the kit I put on the other week...
Cheers
