Does anyone have a tried and tested goose island ipa recipe please.

Fermenting 15ltrs Hobgoblin clone AG#2
Conditioning 12ltrs Irish Red AG#1
Drinking Strawberry and kiwi TC

There is a recipe for this in Mitch Steele's IPA book, but it rather secretley lists the malt as 100% special malt, which is less helpful. I seem to remember it had a very high mash temp as well.

While I've not brewed a clone myself, one thing I would say is that when I've had it in bottle vs on tap in this country - they are two very different beers. The (presumably older) bottles are always very malty, whereas on tap it really was quite hoppy with strong mango notes.

I mention just in case you're after one rather than the other :thumb:
