out of date malt

Ive aquired 75kg of malt that was dated last January. It's been stored in a cool cellar most of its life.

There's pale, wheat, and a bit of crystal. Obviously it's probably fine, but any experience with this? Does it get less viable? Cheers!

I have used Crushed Malt that was 3 years old and it was fine, also sent 3kg to PiddleDribble when he was around and he done a Smash with it and it was fine.

"Where are you from" asked the man....."Swindon" I replied......"What part" he said...."Well, all of me" I replied.

Do you mean it was malted in January 2015 or do you mean it's best before date was January 2014 (or something else). Either way, as long as it's been properly stored it will be fine.
